Disney Cruise Line Just Dropped Their Fall 2027 & Spring 2028 Itineraries — And I Have Feelings

When Disney Cruise Line drops new itineraries, I try to stay professional. Take a breath. Review everything calmly before I start texting my clients in all caps.
I did not do that this time.
Fall 2027 and Spring 2028 are HERE — and there are a few itineraries in this lineup that genuinely stopped me in my tracks. Let me tell you about the ones that matter most, why booking windows are coming up fast, and how to make sure you don't miss your chance.
The One That Has Me Texting My New York Clients Right Now
The Disney Wish is coming to New York City.
If you've been on the fence about a Disney cruise because flying to Florida feels like a whole thing — this is your sign.
Starting late September 2027, the Disney Wish will sail seven special voyages right out of New York. Five of those head to Bermuda — including three sailings with an extra day on those famous pink sand beaches. The others head up the New England and Canada coastline during peak fall foliage season.
Fall. Foliage. On the Disney Wish. From New York.
If that doesn't make you want to immediately open a vacation proposal form, I don't know what will.
For my clients who are always asking about a Disney cruise that doesn't start with a flight to Orlando — here it is. And these sailings are going to go fast.

The One That Made Me Actually Lose My Mind — Two Castaway Cay Days
Okay. I need to talk about this.
I am obsessed with Castaway Cay. If you've cruised with me before, you already know this. It is Disney's private island in the Bahamas and it is — in my completely unbiased opinion — one of the greatest places on earth.
Most itineraries give you one day there. One glorious, never-enough day.
The Disney Treasure has a six-night Bahamian sailing with TWO days at Castaway Cay.

The Disney Dream also has a special six-night sailing with two Castaway Cay stops from Fort Lauderdale.
If you have never experienced Castaway Cay you need to understand — one day is never enough. The beach, the water, the food, the complete absence of the outside world — you spend the whole day thinking about how you wish you could stay longer. Now you can.
This itinerary is going directly on my personal wish list and I am not ashamed.
Vacation Specialist Tip: If you are lucky enough to be on one of these sailings, spend one day doing nothing! No Port Adventures, no big plans, just vibing on the beach and enjoying the islands amenities. The next Castaway Cay day, step out of your comfort zone and book a Port Adventure, do something exciting.
The Disney Believe — A Brand New Ship Is Coming
I have to mention this even though full details aren't available yet.
The Disney Believe will begin sailing in late 2027 — and that alone is worth getting excited about. A brand new Disney Cruise Line ship means new experiences, new dining, new entertainment and that unmatched feeling of being among the first families to sail her.

Other Highlights Worth Knowing About
My Texas & Louisiana Families — This One Is For You The Disney Magic is returning to Galveston, Texas for Fall 2027 — and if you're in Texas or Louisiana, this is the Disney cruise you've been waiting for. A quick drive to the port and you're boarding a Disney ship. No flights, no airport stress, no extra travel day. The Magic will offer four to seven night cruises including sailings that visit BOTH Castaway Cay AND Disney Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point. Two Disney island destinations, a short drive from home. This is the one I will be personally pushing for my local families — and I have a feeling these sailings are going to be incredibly popular in our area. Do not sleep on this one.
Panama Canal — Disney Magic Two 14-night repositioning cruises through the Panama Canal, including maiden calls at brand new ports in Panama. If you've ever wanted to experience the ship AS the destination — this is it.
Southern Caribbean from San Juan The Disney Wish and Disney Fantasy will both offer five to seven night Southern and Eastern Caribbean itineraries from Puerto Rico. Another fantastic option for families who don't want to fly to Florida.
Holiday Cruises Halloween on the High Seas returns in September 2027. Very Merrytime holiday cruises follow in November and December. If you have never done a Disney holiday cruise — it is an experience that is genuinely hard to put into words. The ship becomes part of the celebration in a way that nothing else does.
West Coast Families The Disney Magic and Disney Wonder will both sail from San Diego through early November 2027 with Baja and Mexican Riviera itineraries. No cross-country flights required.
